Cinema St. Louis Membership
Cinema St. Louis (CSL) is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the celebration of film as an art form. Throughout our 17-year history, our core mission has remained the same: screening the finest in international, American independent, and documentary film. When you join CSL, you help support and sustain the programs and special events of Cinema St. Louis. Your annual membership is necessary for our growth and our mission, which is to provide the community with the opportunity to discover films and the people involved in the filmmaking process. St. Louis International Film Festival (SLIFF)
held each year in November. The 20th Annual SLIFF will be Nov. 10-20, 2011. This year the festival features the St. Louis premieres of more than 400 films.
St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase (SLFS)
held each year in late July. The 12th Annual SLFS will be in August of 2012. This event focuses exclusively on the work of local directors and filmmakers, as well as expatriates with strong local connections who have gone on to use their creative talents in other cities.
held from April-September. CinemaSpoke is a screenplay competition/workshop that features public readings of scripts by local screenwriters.
Oscar Night® America Fundraiser
which will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2012 at Monarch Restaurant in Maplewood. CSL is the host of the only local celebration of its kind officially recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences®.
Classic French Film Festival
held in conjunction with the Webster University Film Series, this event will take place over several weekends in July, 2012
