Cinema St. Louis is a non-profit arts & culture organization. We seek interns to support our staff and operations throughout the year.

Interns are essential members of the Cinema St. Louis team. Each one is tasked with responsibilities that move the mission of CSL forward through the Hi-Pointe Theatre, film festivals, and educational programming. The goal for all interns is to learn something meaningful to support their interest in the film industry and/or the nonprofit sector.
Students in high school and college interested in learning and expanding their skillsets in the following areas are invited and encouraged to apply:
- Film Programming

Work closely with our programming team to curate film selections for screenings and festivals. Help research and evaluate film submissions, assist in scheduling, and coordinate filmmaker communications.

- Film Festival Planning

Support the planning and execution of our annual film festivals. Assist with logistics, venue coordination, guest relations, and promotional activities. Gain insights into the behind-the-scenes operations of a major film festival.

- Nonprofit Management

Learn about nonprofit operations, fundraising, and community outreach. Assist in donor relations, event planning, grant research, and database management. Perfect for students interested in nonprofit administration.

- Business Administration

Gain practical experience in business operations within a cultural organization. Assist with financial reporting, membership management, customer service, and administrative tasks across various departments.

- Education

Assist in organizing educational programs and events for students and the community. Conduct pre- and post-program surveys to evaluate effectiveness, and help with outreach to increase awareness and participation in our offerings. Ideal for those interested in film education and community engagement.

- Search Engine Optimization

Work on enhancing our online presence and visibility through SEO strategies. Learn to optimize website content, analyze web traffic, and implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.

Assist in managing our data systems and CRM platforms. Gain experience in data entry, analysis, and reporting. Help ensure data accuracy and support decision-making processes across the organization.
