Cinema St. Louis is a non-profit arts & culture organization. We seek interns to support our staff and operations throughout the year.

Interns are essential members of the Cinema St. Louis team. Each is responsible for advancing CSL’s mission through the Hi-Pointe Theatre, film festivals, and educational programming. The goal for all interns is to learn something meaningful to support their interest in the film industry and/or the nonprofit sector.

Students in high school and college who are interested in learning and expanding their skill sets in the following areas are encouraged to apply.

Applications will be reviewed Dec. 22-31, and interviews will be held Jan. 5-10. Interns will officially start on Jan. 14.

  • Marketing
    • Graphic Design: If you are studying or have experience in graphic design, this is for you! We need interns to assist with our marketing efforts for the theatre and year-round festivals. Applicants should have experience using Canva. If you have experience with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop but none in Canva, please note that in your application.
    • Social Media: We are seeking interns interested in joining our marketing team and working on social media planning and posting. Interns should be interested in learning about best practices in this area and sharing these with the team. In addition, applicants should be familiar with Hootsuite and social media analytics.

 

  • Film Festival Planning
    • The St. Louis International Film Festival is turning 35 in 2026, and we are seeking interns to assist with a special project to engage festival filmmakers from years past. Interns should be able to demonstrate the ability to manage projects, communicate effectively via email, and manage data.

 

 

  • Special Events & Campaigns
    • Interns will be needed to assist with special events during film festivals, as well as the following:
      • Hi-Pointe special events
      • SLIFF35 Gala
      • I Love Movies Trivia Night

 

 

  • Data Systems Management
    • Assist in managing our data systems and CRM platforms. Gain experience in data entry, analysis, and reporting. Help ensure data accuracy and support decision-making processes across the organization.
