Webster Film Series

Kore-eda Retrospective!
September 19-29
The Webster Film Series explores the works of Kore-eda Hirokazu, known of late for films such as "Shoplifters" and "Nobody Knows." In a career spanning retrospective, Webster provides the opportunity to watch Kore-eda's films on the big screen, in some instance for the first time in the US!
The 9/19-22 screenings (Maborosi, After Life, Distance, Nobody Knows, respectively) will feature an intro and Q&A from film scholar Dr. Linda Ehrlich, who did the commentary track on the Milestone DVD/blu-ray release of Maborosi!
