Children’s Film Showcase

Friday, Nov 18 to Sunday, Nov 20
Washington U. /Brown

Free
Washington U.’s Center for the Humanities and Cinema St. Louis annually present this Showcase, which explores issues related to children’s films through screenings, lectures, and discussions. Free and open to the public – children and adults alike – the event expands to three days this year. On its opening night, the Showcase features a special behind-the-scenes look at the locally produced “Voltron Force!” That event includes giveaways for the kids, and a pair of other presentations – “Little Vampire” and “Quest for Zhu” – will also include gifts for children in attendance. Other kid-friendly film programs include “Aurelie LaFlamme’s Diary,” “A Cat in Paris,” “Circus Dreams,” “Eleanor’s Secret,” “Snowmen,” and “Weston Woods Animation Sampler.” The Showcase concludes with “Tomorrow Will Be Better,” a film focused on children but made for an adult audience. For more information, see the listings for individual programs or visit the Center’s Web site: cenhum.artsci.wustl.edu.
